Senior Trip

To kick off the roadtrip, the people in my car listened to the song "500 Miles" 20 times...in a row.
It was quite the accomplishment.
I'll have to put that on my resume.

Zion's National Park Adventures:

Little Ham Bone fell asleep on the shuttle bus on our way to Angels Landing. How precious! <3
Also, why didn't anyone tell me about that massive tweedy? lol

Pretty much I am 110% in love with the view from on top of Angels Landing. The people in my group joked about how we didn't regret hiking up to the very top until we had to come down!

Next up: Weeping Rock
This "hike" is more of a walk. No joke, it's so easy, but oh so lovely.
Definitely a good way to cool down :)

Fun fact! My favorite color is GREEN, so I was SWOONING over how lush these trees were!

These lil plants were so stinking cute. They were growing in the most random places, like on the rocks, in crevices and on cliff walls. So adorably dainty!

This picture was taken post-hiking on the way back to the car. Golly gee, I sure am going to miss seeing all of these goofballs next year.

Ignore the fact that I look like a crazed woman,,, LOOK AT ALL OF THESE CUTE KIDS!
I absolutely hate driving, and ironically I was one of the drivers down to Parowan. But I lucked out because Josh did LOTS of the driving, which I was BEYOND grateful for! What a champ! He even put all of the friends in the back to sleep with his smooth driving skills ;)

Sand Hallow:

Two words to describe Sand Hallow: Freaking Hot.

Seriously, this place is gorgeous. The water was super clear and the sand beaches were really clean. I was mucho impressed.
*is mucho even a word?*
Everything we did was a blast; building sand castles, paddle boarding, burring people in the sand, swimmin' around, it was great!
Just look at this bunch. Are they not all so good looking?
It was so nice to do one last "hurrah" before we all split off to go on missions and/or college.
I love these people!!!

now i have vacation hangover and i just want to be back with my friends.
*sobs violently*

These are the people that made high school suck less. I will forever be grateful for them and their humor, support, love, guidance, encouragement, patience, hard work, and example.
Y'all are the bomb.com

rain, rain stay a while

 I finally decided.
I am officially LDS Business College bound.
Holy crap. How is this real life? I feel like I should still be 14.
Last night I stayed up until the crazy hour of 12:00 am so that I could register for my classes.

So why LDSBC?
Honestly, I'm not entirely sure. But after a lot of prayer and telling Heavenly Father that that's not where I wanted to go to school, I realized that the plan I had for myself was not what He had in mind for me. Plus, His way is ALWAYS the best.
Plus, the teachers at LDSBC have totally broken the whole "college professor" stereotype that I had in high school.

Also! My declared major will be Social Media Marketing! (happy claps!)

I am BEYOND excited to attend LDSBC in the fall and to be studying something that I am so passionate about!

Moody skies on Monday might be my new favorite thing. If I could live somewhere that poured rain every single day, you better believe that I would move there in a heartbeat.

This is where I add some witty comment like "aw hail no" or "holy hail!"
sooo that's a road...

This picture just solidifies the fact that I am the most awkward person ever.
ok bye

hey guys, I GRADUATED

Holy snap. SOOO many pictures to share with y'all internet blog stalkers. (hehe)

Graduation was obviously fan-freakin-tastic. I cannot even tell you how happy I am to be done with school. The senioritis is GONE. I'm like an official adult now.

The hardest part about graduating is leaving all of my friends. I mean, I'm sure I'll stay in contact with the people I want to, but I will definitely miss the social aspect of high school. Yanno, football games, school dances, and seeing my friends literally every single day.

Also, grad night was a BLAST! I'm so glad that I went! Swimming, eating, and hanging out with friends. It doesn't get much better than that folks. I also won a blender. That means I can get married now, right? ;)

On the real though, it's been like 2 weeks since graduation and there is still a #vacancy on my left ring finger. C'mon, I thought I won most likely to get married first at Senior Dinner Dance?!?

(ha. my moms gunna flip when she reads that last bit. let me just remind y'all that she was 18 years young when she got hitched...and she's still happily married to my poppa <3 )

To top graduation day off, my cute Abigail (aka baby mouse) got her mission call! I am so proud of her decision to serve a mission and I am blessed daily by her example and peaceful influence in my life. She is quite the young woman!

much love

Dog Logic

Sometimes I do really dumb things.
Sometimes my dogs do REALLY dumb things.
(this is why we are so good for each other <3 )

Here are just a few things that make my dogs "extra special"

1. The other night just before bed Lady Belle brought me a dried out piece of poo and then expected to sleep on the same bed as me. Um, nice try pup, but no.

2. The dogs walk all over you...literally.

3. Wanna hear a joke?
Why did the dog walk over Dallas at 3:30 am?
To get to the other side? Nope. I literally have no idea why.
(lame joke, sorry)

4. For some reason the dogs think that it is a great idea to lick their rear end and then try to lick my face. I think it's their way of saying "I love you Dallas, thanks for feeding me and loving me."
I'm no love expert, but that is definitely not the way to let someone know you love them.

5. They lick each other. like ALL THE STINKING TIME.

6. They all fart at the exact. same. time. I think they're trying to gang up on me or something...

7. After I change their water they all go get a drink. One dog in particular always inhales the water and then barfs it out again.

Well that was probably the most disgusting blog post you have ever read.

I have this new obsession with calling all of the dogs "snu snu"
or baby. or pascal lamb. or boo boo. or bully cat, kid, or baby wolf.
dat tongue tho
