The Saint named George

Hiya hiya. Greetings from St Geezy.

Today I went to the SUU campus. SO beautiful!

Like, I'm swoonin so hard for this place.

Anyway, day juan went as follows:

Firstly: obviously going to the SUU campus
*fun fact: SUU is ma dream college.

Secondly: DA DUNES OF SAND *holla holla*
I dug my own grave. And yes, I did get stuck.

Thirdly: We went on a hike (3 Ponds) and it ended up being like 2 miles longer than                           we expected. lol@my poor legs/feet
But golly gee it sure was beautiful!

                    cacti is rad guys.

Basically, I am "suu"per excited for college now. SUU is seriously the cutest, most perfect campus I have ever laid my eyeballs on. I am also so pumped for roomin' with da BFF, Hanny JJ.
                      thunderbirds? thunderbirds.

p.s. I got SUU chapstick today guyz. I am so KEWL.

двухдневный (Day 2)
                                Zions? Zions.

NOTE TO SELF: Memorial Day weekend is NOT the time to go to Zion National Park.
No, taking a picture on your iPad does NOT make you look cooler than everybody else. Now move outta da way duuude.

HOWEVER, despite all of the crazy tourists who stood in the middle of the trail to take a picture,  the view was DEFINITELY worth it!

My legs/glutes=sore. Thanks Angels Landing for literally kicking my butt.

K. Wow. Just look at this. SO MANY TOURISTS DOING TOURISTY THINGS. #selfiesticksgalore

DAY 3

The St George temple. Wow. Wow. Wooooow. Absolutely stunning!

ALLLLLSO,

You know those friends that you rarely see but when you do it's so awesome? Whaaale, that's exactly how it is with Ry. I love this gorgeous girl and I am so glad that we were able to talk for a little while!

We also went here. It was quite epic.

It was also panoramic worthy, obvi
(p.s. look @ that sky. SWOON)

                                 electricity check

For dinner, we went to SmashBurger and it was DELISH. I literally scarfed down my entire meal.

p.s. I tried fried pickles and they were exquisite.
p.p.s I also had a salted caramel milkshake. IT WAS DIVINE.

Tomorrow... I go home. *Insert violent sobs here*

Dear St. George,
I love you. I love your dunes. I love your weather. I love your canyons. I love Swig.
BUT I do not love that I now have sand everywhere. Literally everywhere. Thanks for that.
Love,
a girl who still has dirt up her nose. (But who loves you nonetheless :)

Car Alarms, Criminals, and Gettin' Hitched

Herro Herro Herro

Holy Holy Holy. The most embarrassing thing happened today.

So I really reaLLY REALLY wanted some raspberries to put into a smoothie (cause ya know, smoothies are da bomb diggity) and so I popped on over to my local Smiths to pick some up.

Not really embarrassing...yet

My mom and sister came with me, but my mom stayed in the car. Soooo, because my mom was staying in the car, I just left the keys. No big whoop.

Ha. That was dumb.

When I came back to the car, I told my mom to unlock the car door. She was like “If I unlock the door, the alarm will go off.”

WAT.

WAT.

WAT.

Wow Dallas. I am thoroughly impressed at my own stupidity. lol @ the 17 yr old who doesn’t think of car alarms.

So my mom puts the keys in the ignition (doors locked and all) and the car alarm goes off. S/O to the car alarm for making the entire Smiths parking lot think I am stealing a silver minivan.

Needless to say, I had to drive half way home with the car alarm blaring. How awkward.

>>Note to Self: Always keep your keys with you or else people will think you are a criminal who likes minivans.<<

On a much HAPPIER note, today in seminary, we talked about marriage. *Insert fangirling “oohs” and “aaahs” here*

K. I love love. And so does D&C 131.

“The most important single thing that any Latter Day Saint ever does in this world is to marry the right person, in the right place, by the right authority.”

            (S’Cute, I know)

When I get hitched, I only want to get hitched once. No pressure future hubby. JK. Feel the pressure.

I could probably listen to my mom tell me stories about her first dates with my dad FOREVER! SWOONIN' hard for those 2 lovers. My parents are the ultimate example to me of #relationshipgoals.

Thanks momma and pops for having such a pure love and marriage that is centered around Christ. xoxo

As for my future Hubby…

The "Intro"

HOLY SHOOT Y’ALL.

You heard right, I have a blog! Huzzah!

I suppose I will start with a brief introduction.

Hi....My name is Dallas and I like long walks on the beach and sunsets.

JayKay JayKay JayKay. I have never even been to the beach.

On the real tho, here are the top 11 things you should know about mwah:

  1. I LOVE CEREAL. Cereal is the food of the gods. I could probably eat it for every meal… & for every snack.
  2. I would rather watch the movie first and then read the book. I know, I’ll probably get a lot of crap for that one. oooh weeeell.
  3. I work at Jimmy Johns. Holla Holla freaky fast sammies commin right @ you.
(My Fav SamJam: #4 w/ dijon, cucumbers, and hot peppers.)

 4. I live for going on good hikes. Period. End of story.
   5. My bff is Hills. She is da bomb.com
   6. Lemonade is the bees knees. Let’s just establish that now.
   7. I am SO OCD. (Or should I say “obsessively detail oriented”?)
   8. My sense of smell is quite keen. This is both a curse and a blessing. (Even Hills thinks I’m crazy for this one)
   9. I sing E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G……sorry fam bam.
  10. My favorite sister is Aundrea. Well, she’s my only sister, so I guess that makes her my least favorite too.
  11. Most of my files that I save on my computer are titles like “jflskjirsijfsjkhirunvsjf” or “hgeuwhfsbcns,jf” This makes things quite difficult to find…

Any whooo, I’m real excited about this whole “blog” thing, so hopefully I will be able to keep up on it during my high school years and continue it when I get hitched. :)

Stay Classy Folks.
