Car Alarms, Criminals, and Gettin' Hitched

Herro Herro Herro

Holy Holy Holy. The most embarrassing thing happened today.

So I really reaLLY REALLY wanted some raspberries to put into a smoothie (cause ya know, smoothies are da bomb diggity) and so I popped on over to my local Smiths to pick some up.

Not really embarrassing...yet

My mom and sister came with me, but my mom stayed in the car. Soooo, because my mom was staying in the car, I just left the keys. No big whoop.

Ha. That was dumb.

When I came back to the car, I told my mom to unlock the car door. She was like “If I unlock the door, the alarm will go off.”

WAT.

WAT.

WAT.

Wow Dallas. I am thoroughly impressed at my own stupidity. lol @ the 17 yr old who doesn’t think of car alarms.

So my mom puts the keys in the ignition (doors locked and all) and the car alarm goes off. S/O to the car alarm for making the entire Smiths parking lot think I am stealing a silver minivan.

Needless to say, I had to drive half way home with the car alarm blaring. How awkward.

>>Note to Self: Always keep your keys with you or else people will think you are a criminal who likes minivans.<<

On a much HAPPIER note, today in seminary, we talked about marriage. *Insert fangirling “oohs” and “aaahs” here*

K. I love love. And so does D&C 131.

“The most important single thing that any Latter Day Saint ever does in this world is to marry the right person, in the right place, by the right authority.”

When I get hitched, I only want to get hitched once. No pressure future hubby. JK. Feel the pressure.

I could probably listen to my mom tell me stories about her first dates with my dad FOREVER! SWOONIN' hard for those 2 lovers. My parents are the ultimate example to me of #relationshipgoals.

Thanks momma and pops for having such a pure love and marriage that is centered around Christ. xoxo

As for my future Hubby…
